Trying a new link up today. Although I love Illustration Fridays, it pushes me to try new things in coming up with art that matches the prompt every week...and I have loved participating in Creative Tuesdays these last two weeks for the same reason, I find myself spending all my time making art to share at those sights and not for my own pleasure. I decided to participate in Sunday Sketches today so that I could link up anything. No themes or topics...yay!
Pretty, love it on the old book page!
ReplyDeletevery pretty rita!
ReplyDeleteThis is so pretty Rita!
ReplyDeleteWell, hey! It's my first time at SS, too! I love this...so clever painted on the page of the book. Really lovely!
ReplyDeleteI've been there too with my artwork blowing away!!
ReplyDeleteWhat a pretty page - glad you got it back from that pesky thieving wind!
What a delight, colorful and creative page ~ Wow! ~~ thanks, namaste, (A Creative Harbor)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! And so great that you are getting a chance to something you feel drawn (no pun intended) to do.
ReplyDeleteI love how you did this! I like the look of Hungarian folk art designs, and Russian ones too and you did a great job bringing that style to paper. And also it looks like even with all the vibrant color you can still read the words on the page.
ReplyDeleteI like having no themes sometimes too... it makes for a nice change... lovely page...xx
ReplyDeleteI saw that one on pinterest! I've put that idea on my illustration bucket list. Painting on sheet music or newsprint, etc...
ReplyDeleteGreat job...Most of what I create just happens with no theme...It is great to be channelled too.. :)
ReplyDeleteRita, this is wonderful. I love, love the bright red in this piece. :) Thanks for sharing.

ReplyDeleteThanks Jenny, I love doing them...trying to find more time!!
DeleteRita, I couldn;t find anywhere to leave a comment on your Rita piece....did you turn off comments? SO, am leaving one here.
ReplyDeleteHa, yes, I suppose you did rather have to do that one did't you? A very well done version I might add. I like the fun addition of call 123-rita. Yes, can only imagine your love hate relationship with the song then. but wait, i thought i was the only teen in the 80's who listened to the Beatles...at least in London. Lol.
anyway, great job. Feel free to cut and paste this to your Rita post if you get comments up there. Thanks.
